Here's a little about me, Mick (Creative Director of Maverick Marketing & Design). I'm currently specializing as a layout and design artist for several monthly publications (see my links page for samples). While these are primarily Motorsport publications, I have also done and continue to do a variety of work for charities, restaurants, shows, events and expos. Prior to creating “Maverick” I did Marketing for a local multi-line motorcycle and automotive dealership working with such brands as; Harley-Davidson, Buell, Ducati, Triumph, BMW, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Lincoln, Mercury and Volvo. I was responsible for planning/creating and implementing all aspects of marketing/advertising and public relations, including event production/coordination and all media correspondence. Winning several peoples choice awards (in publications for which I now design for) for my work, including "Man of the Year", "Promoter of the Year", and other misc. awards for specific events I planned etc. I was also selected to the Hartford Business Journals 10th annual "40 under forty" class, where I was honored by professionals outside of the motorsport industry for my work. (Each year the Hartford Business Journal chooses 40 individuals under the age of forty who are at the top of their fields) It was a real honor for me.
 
After a few years of doing “special projects” and a variety of people telling me that I should start my own  company, I decided to give it a shot and officially created "Maverick Marketing Design" in the Fall of 2007. I call it Maverick because I've always been somewhat of one. I like to do things my own way and quite often differently from the “norm”. However that does not mean I disregard the clients wishes... I am very adaptable with a wide range of “style” capabilities from plain, simple and elegeant to bold and in your face. I really enjoy what I do now and the opportunity to do a wide variety of unique work/projects for a number of great businesses and people.

In summary, Over the past several years, I (Mick) have won a number of Awards for my work
in the Powersports Industry, and am now a..........MAVERICK FOR HIRE! (pretty clever huh?)
